Another update, with a couple of reviews and observations.
New Spindrift Radler http://www.nlliquor.com/products/19321/ ... 73ml%20Can
Had one the weekend and, honestly, not that great. It wasn't light enough to be radler-y enough. But it looks like NLC is doubling down on the radlers and fruity summer beers with lots of stock of these.
Not sure if I mentioned this before, but they have Moosehead 12 packs! of watermelon, blueberry and grapefruit radler. I do not trust them enough to buy 12 beers. http://www.nlliquor.com/products/19432/ ... ack%20Cans
For a much better beer, and a steal of a deal, I have to keep recommending the Les Trois Mousquetaires Gose http://www.nlliquor.com/products/19428/ ... l%20Bottle
This stuff is $4.00 at Bishop's Cellar in Halifax and was more expensive at LCBO. $3.98 is a steal and it is good. Throw half a dozen in the cellar for next year.
I also enjoyed the CA Liquid Art Fest. It wasn't as dense as some "puree" beers, and I always prefer a beer I can drink without chewing.
In the saga of NLC stocking twice as much beer as they needed, lots of Omnipollo Zodiak and Sawdust City Twin Pines are still on the shelves in most places. Poor sad IPAs
And finally, things have come to a pretty pass when Robinson's Trooper is not flying off the shelves. 100s of cans still at some locations. Maybe even Iron Maiden fans have a limit?
The next beer you try might be the best beer you will ever have.
