Bridge Brewing The Grinch (6.5%)
Bridge Brewing Sleigh Booster (9%)
Bridge Brewing Santa's Sac (10%)

Sound Entendez Noel (11.8%)
Checking my official records (i.e. Untappd) and the Sleigh Booster was in the 2015 Advent calendar, while the Entendez Noel was in the 2014 Advent calendar. Apparently I liked the Sleigh Booster, but found the Entendez a bit boozy, which isn't surprising at 11.8%

Also picked up a Creemore Mad & Noisy Coconut Porter which was OK.
St. Peter's Winter Ale is back
St. Peter's Christmas Ale is new

St-Ambroise Stout Impériale Russe (Russian Imperial Stout) (2018) for ~$6.00 at Howley this afternoon (on shelf right outside beer cooler). Not on NLC site yet but this beer currently has a 4.21 rating on Untappd (only 13 check-ins though)

New beer news:

Beau's Fogo Island Partridgeberry Gose. I assume this is the "49 degrees, 54 minutes" beer. Gonna jump on this one quickly. http://www.nlliquor.com/products/20251/ ... 00ml%20Btl

Collective Arts Life In The Clouds NEIPA. Will sell well. http://www.nlliquor.com/products/20161/ ... PA%20473ml
If you're a sucker for Air Miles, they've got a Collective Arts bundle deal, which is good because they've restocked the Gose and the Blonde, and you can't go wrong with Ransack.

Moosehead Ten Penny in 473 ml cans. Back in Halifax in 1996, when everyone drank Keith's, this is what I drank because I was a hipster before hipster was a word. I was also a craft beer lover waiting to be born. Every millennial who drinks India downtown to be "different" thinks it tastes like this, but this is better. http://www.nlliquor.com/products/20108/ ... 73ml%20Can

Oud Beersel Sourblend. This was in the Advent calendar in 2016. At the time I gave it the ringing endorsement of "Fine". http://www.nlliquor.com/products/20318/ ... l%20Bottle

Quidi Vidi Mad Mike is back! http://www.nlliquor.com/products/19470/ ... ack%20Btls
Calm Tom is always limited stock, but Blackmarsh has a pile. http://www.nlliquor.com/products/19469/ ... %20Bottles

And never forget that, today, right now, you can go buy a 4 pack of Peche Mortel. In Grand Falls. In Stephenville. In Marystown for God's sake. To celebrate that astounding fact you should drink a Peche Mortel.

Hey! Anyone know how we beer crazed people will find out when the advent calendars are arriving at NLC? Last I heard mid November. Will an email go out? Is Tom holding onto that list or did he put that away. Maybe I should ask the man himself!!!

We are not involved with the Advent Calendar in any way now, it's all up to the NLC.

I was thinking of emailing Beau's and razzing them up about that beer, I bought a bottle not even knowing what it was, the writing was too small to read without glasses

Not official / guaranteed but my understanding is that NLC stores will release advent calendars on November 20th (Craft Calendar - $195 & Brewer's Calendar - $123). I also heard that NLC are bringing in a few hundred more calendars this year due to last year's high demand.

Thank you Adrian.

Last year just to let you all know we, the club put out the Advent Calendar offering in the spring and we had very low response in comparison to earlier years, the NLC ordered largely based on those numbers and got caught out short handed in a number of locations. I think this year they learned their lesson and are ordering much bigger numbers as a result. Maybe I'll even get one for myself.

There's a sign up at Blackmarsh that confirms the date November 20th for the Advent Calendars

They also have two new Cameron's beers (they look OK, but not earth-shattering) and another Collective Arts I missed: Radio the Mothership.

By the way Mike, I could read that Beau's Gose label just fine. But you are a lot older than me.
